Hello vets.. Found out today I have covid. Symptoms started today. Yesterday I was rubbing faces with my kitten (10 weeks old) I'm paranoid that he will get covid and die.

Can anyone, preferably a vet, soothe my anxious mind about this?

It would be extremely unlikely for your kitten to develop COVID-19. We refer to the CDC and AVMA stance on this subject.

Honestly your kitten has a higher chance of contracting FIP and dying than from Covid from the numerous articles I've read. If concerned always contact your local vet as a precaution.

Had covid and many other things and my cats never been ill, and she sticks to me like glue whenever I'm poorly.

I'm not a vet but we all had covid and our dog didn't get it. I heard if animals do get it their normally asymptomatic.
