Another painting aluminium window frame question...

I was wondering if you paint the window trims before or after painting the alunimium?

My concern with doing it after is that the paint will come off the aluminium when you tape.

Anything else I need to know would be appreciated.

We spray painted the aluminium first and then painted the window trims. No problem whatever. (Apart from the fact that it's a pain-in-neck job and we're nowhere near done. But we're on a budget and had to do it ourselves. It looks soooo good tho')

We had ours professionally sprayed after our window trims were done and some of the paint came off the trim. I’d recommend getting the windows done first. The paint on the aluminium windows is a lot less likely to come off with the tape than from the wooden trim.

Best to get a pro to do the windows after everything else is finished. They are pros in cutting in and don’t need tape.
