Hi everyone, I need ideas what to put in my 3 consecutive niche which are rectangular and not much have width to put vase. Niche are in the living room which has main entrance door as well.

Any kind of photos or ideas please. I am totally lost.

What about using them as sort of ‘frame’ for art or photographs? Can hang them centered on the back of the niche so depth of niche isn’t an issue.

As it’s in your entry/living area, use items that introduce and reflect you and your family. A series of family photos both hanging on the wall and standing on the shelf could be complemented by small keepsakes such as a shell found on a beach holiday, a bird nest found on a bush walk. Plants in pots don’t have to be large and can be low maintenance such as succulents. If you have light coming through the entry door (glass panels) ferns and other leafy indoor plants can do quite well. You can pick up a set of three battery operated dimmable LED puk lights for about $10 from Officeworks, Bunnings, Kmart which would fit in a shallow niche and would make a lovely feature at night. If you like a coastal boho style 3 large pieces such as a wooden mandala, a large straw hat either side of a coastal wall print. Go with what suits your style.
