So, my kid enjoyed squeezing out the beans but still refused to eat. We even watched the Bluey episode, Pavlova, where Bingo tries edamame.

I just steam in the package in the microwave. 4.5 minutes ish and put salt on it. I personally popped them out for him and he liked them. But my older girls liked popping them out themselves.
