Looking for some inspo on dining tables and chairs
Hey everyone. Thinking of its wise or not to introduce a natural timber top dining table as it would be the only thing in the living/dining with that texture. Stone bench tops and shaker cabinetry elsewhere.
My home is a classic mix, it was mainly provincial styling, but I’ve move to a more Hamptons look. My dining table is natural top. Everything else in the area is white. I think it goes nicely. My cabinet maker even did our buffet/hutch with timber to break up the stone and tie it in with our dining area.

You could add timber in accessories elsewhere like picture frames, candle sticks, bowls or trays. That way the timber table top isn’t the only “natural” substance in a room/space.
If you think it will look like an orphan, you can repeat a little timber elsewhere like in a cutting board on display or platter or wooden spoons or picture frames.
