Sowed lettuce and a few other things. Coming up great but having problems with mold starting on the soil

I have the same problem. Warm moist air hits the cold ground. Makes everything wet.

The solution for me is bottom watering. I never water from the top after the seeds have sprouted. No mold, my lettuce and spring onions are thriving, and my cherry tomatoes have tiny green cherries on them. BTW, they're all growing in a south facing window with extra lights. Zone 6a, SW VA mountains.

sprinkle cinnamon or cover with vermiculite. the mold will cause damping off of your seedling and they will die. mold comes from the soil always being damp.

Sounds like too much moisture, you might want to water less often.
