Hi everyone. I’ve heard the weather in the south of Thailand is really bad at the moment and I’m thinking of rearranging my trip so I go north to Chiang Mai today instead, and then across to Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia from there.
(The weather apps are notoriously not accurate)!
Thanks so much!
Is anyone in the south of Thailand - Krabi/ Surat Thani that can confirm what the weather is like
We are in koh phangan, rained most days but we had good weather today. Heading to koh samui tomorrow but not sure what the weather will be like! It’s quite unpredictable just now.
We are leaving south Thailand because of the weather. We got here on 29.11 and we had max 4 sunny days. Forecast is showing weather improvement but I would not risk it.
Can't fault the weather in Chiang Mai. Lots of people around for Sunday walking market and any other market. Been here since 14Nov and rained twice and that was a week ago.
We are in Koh Lipe for 6 days now. First 2 days sunny. After that rain or clouds. Hopefully someone can tell the weather that rainy season is over…
Do a Yahoo weather search each morning and night on areas you are going to, you can add 20 destinations it has 5/10 day forecast.
Downloaded the yahoo weather APP to your mobile device.

Been in Koh Sok and Koh Phi Phi the past 4 days, it’s been hit and miss. One day might be cloudy with 10 minutes of thunder storms and the next is sunny and hot.
