Flight is much more expensive so ideally hoping to go by bus but have heard some stories of buses leaving the border after 30mins which doesn’t allow time to get through the border for some.

Has anyone had recent experience of crossing via bus? and if so, did you keep access to your luggage?

Thanks!

We took the bus from KL to Singapore and the bus did indeed not wait for us at it took around 45mins at immigration. Wasn’t a big deal, there are public busses leaving from just outside of immigration and you can go the the next metro station within 10 min by bus.

We crossed the border using the shuttle train, you can book tickets in advance on 12goasia - we got the public bus to the Woodlands border and then the train took us across!

Long time ago we were cross by bus, they didn't wait so we run & scream, got in on time to the bus but it is scarry.

If you have many luggage better not to do it.

Is might change now, no?

For me that is enough scared to not repeat.

December January is the busiest time of the year for every country.

So be very cautious.
