Anyone have any issues with Vietnam visa taking over the 5 working day quote?

Was told I would hear yesterday at 20:30 and was told more time is needed and I would hear at 19:30 on 13th December… 2 days before I fly?

December January is the busiest time of the year for countries and embassies 5 working days would be the average time in the busiest times much longer.

They say up to 9 days on the government website. Count only working days, they don't work weekends.

Did you use the official website? The one they charge $25 usd.. after we paid it said it would take atleast 3 working days and we got ours exactly 3 working days to the hour.
