Is this a medical issue or behavioral issue?

Hi all! I have a dog who is part beagle and part sharpei. Have had her over a year now and she is about to be 5.

She has started peeing in the house, usually in the same areas. Is this a medical issue or behavioral issue?

It’s a UTI or bladder infection. Antibiotics should clear this up. Pets don’t usually pee on purpose. They hate to disappoint us. If it’s really sticky urine, test for Cushings.

Any change like that should be evaluated medically. That could very likely be a UTI but you have to rule it out before you treat a behavioral problem.
