How cold do you let the inside of your greenhouse get before turning on heat?

Mine is very small 6’ x 6’ x 3’. I have an asparagus fern, 2 foxtail ferns, a small cactus and a birdbath filled with succulents. I’m in central Mississippi.

Tonight is forecasted to get 30 for a low.

You don't want the plants to go below 32F, which is freezing. Preferably keep them a little warmer, like 34 or 35. But you also don't want to super heat their environment and then let them go unheated in the 40s next week.

I would find out which plant is the least cold tolerant and keep it above the lowest temp that it can handle.
