Which countries should you suggest to visit? We were now thinking about Colombia, Peru and Bolivia

We would like to visit South America during 14 weeks in the period may-july. Which countries should you suggest to visit? We were now thinking about Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.

We should travel by bus and probably by plane because of the distance.

You can spend at least 6 weeks in Colombia. It was incredible!

I spent 9 weeks in Peru and tbh didn’t even like it that much. They are also having big political problems now - not sure what situation will be in July.

Can’t speak to Bolivia!

Rio de Janeiro is lovely in July: blue skies, not too hot, little rain, not many tourists.

June/July is the period of Festa Junina / Bumba Meu Boi all around Brazil. You can see amazing cultural celebrations with much music and food in:

Caruaru, Pernambuco
Recife, Pernambuco
Campina Grande, Paraíba
São Luís, Maranhão
Parintins, Amazonas
