Do you recommend paying the monthly fees and choosing the metal option with Revolut?

Hi all! I am from Australia and will be heading to SEA for 12 months early next year. My question is for anyone with a Revolut account.

At this stage I am planning taking over cards with Revolut and ING (or UBank instead of ING).

Do you recommend paying the monthly fees and choosing the metal option with Revolut?

I’m trying to work out if in the long run, this might work out better because of no fee ATM withdrawals up to $1400 (I will be in Europe for a month within my travels), and also because this option has no fee currency exchange.

Can always pay for the metal card, then downgrade to a cheaper plan, and if u need to upgrade again you can… I personally pay the tier where I can only withdraw £400 a month, but I choose to not use cash that often.
