One of my client's websites has multiple language pages. English is the default language. And all other language page content uses Google translated content.
Is there any duplication issue for this?
Any Penalty for Google Translated Content?
Re: Any Penalty for Google Translated Content?
Translated content= content
So, the same questions that applies to the quality of content also applies to the translated one.
The source doesn't matter, what matters is how useful and original it is.
So, using just automatic translation is not a good idea.
Will the content rank with automatic translation? Probably no
Will you get a penalty? Maybe
In regards to duplication, you're good. Google doesn't consider translated content as duplicate. You can also use href lang on translated pages
