I have a voucher of £150 from BG for my electric can I use it for gas instead of electric?

It depends on your post office as it does say on the letter it's for electric which is silly as most have gas heating.

They put it on electric because not everyone has gas. I don’t I’m all electric and the council properties in my area are all electric.

Yes, Some people cash it out at the post office in my area. Before the post office under a previous owner wont let u if you don't give him half of the money. This was ridiculous. As for me it all goes on my electricity.

I phoned British Gas last year and they split it. Be prepared for a long phone call though it took me two hours to get through last week.
