Would love some advice please..

My 4.5 year old son has been a picky eater for two years of age, he is neurotypical. I don’t believe he has sensory issues. His cousin was the same as a child, and he grew out of it.

I’m on the wait list for x2 OTs.

At the moment he only eats chips, hot chips, crackers, iceblocks, chocolate custard, chocolate, a bite of cheese sometimes.

He would not have the pedisure drink.

I’m so stressed and I feel so awful that I let my child eat like this. I worry so much about his nutrition.

If I offer what we are eating e.g. spaghetti bolognaise and bread and he doesn’t want either, what do I do? Any advice welcome, thanks.

Following. My 18mo son eats really similar to your son: dry cereal and chips. Will not even wanna eat french fries. I’ve tried many suggestion, but he’s really stubborn and will not budge, kept spitting out food when it enters his mouth (without even chewing or tasting it first!)

Maybe he likes “bland” one flavor where every bite taste the same and texture.
So, try maybe just plain noodles (with some melted butter) see if he would eat that.
