I have them on my sliding doors they are boxed at the sides so there are two sliders and can slide with the panels open

I have them on my kitchen window. If your sink sits at the window ask them about if you can open the shutters if you have a higher tap. I had a company come out who told me there was no way I would be able to open the right shutter with a high tap (they’re advice was to buy a low mixer tap from Bunnings) got a local company and they made the shutter so the middle panel is fixed with pins but I can open both the left and right side to reach my windows.

Yes! These shutters are on sliding doors (I can’t open them to show you as the top clip is broken and I’m waiting to get it fixed)

But ….. they clip into the tracks in the middle and then bifold so that they lay flush against the wall on either side of the window.

These have been in place for 10 years. No issues - other than the clip recently being broken.
