Fencing rules. I’m the front unit and I really want to fence the front. It’s my land but I can’t find any rules on the council website. I’m in Frankston council if that helps.

Is there any caveats on your land? Probably best to go into Council office and ask.

My Mums unit is the front one in a strata and the front fencing costs had to come out of the strata account and be approved.

And you’d also be bound by the height of surrounding fences in your street. Ie if they’re 1.8 high, you can’t go any higher etc.
