I’ve bought a house where the owner didn’t clean anything

The flooring is terracotta look tiles with cream grout.

In some spots, the previous owner has applied a layer of some grey product (grout?) in order to match the filthy black grout they didn’t clean.

How am I going to remove this thin layer of product and get back to cream grout? Hydrochloride acid? Sandpaper?

TIA
Jackie

my Dremmel (little hand held craft tool) has a special bit for removing grout. I think you can buy them in bunnings.

You just remove the old grout, clean up and Re-grout as you choose. it’s very easy honest!
