Can a propane heater be used in a greenhouse?

A properly operating propane heater shouldn't produce much carbon monoxide. Allow it a little fresh air.. They give off mostly carbon dioxide and water vapor if they are burning right..

Indoor ones only vented is better.if it has a big label that says outdoor use or well ventilated space it doesn’t belong in a GH.

Yes. I do in my 10x14. It was built pretty tight, so to get by Mr. Buddy to work properly I have to vent it… fire needs oxygen. Works great.

Almost all commercial greenhouses are heated this way.

Yes but you must be prepared to deal with carbon monoxide, and depending where you live the cost.
