Has anyone tried the Jericho Writers (ultimate novel writing course) or Novelry courses, and have any thoughts?

I've never studied any creative writing and I starting to think there are some big gaps in my knowledge, including the art of useful outlining, tips and tricks for editing, and getting a good submission package together (how hard is writing a synopsis?!). I'd also love more feedback on my work. I'm thinking of doing a writing course.

Never tried Jericho Writers, though I have heard of them. I have tried the wonderful one at the Writer's Bureau. Love that one. I teach creative writing and I learned so much from the inimitable and very sadly missed Jane Wenham-Jones. She was kind of my unofficial mentor and I looked up to her so much. you could do worse than read her book So You Wannabe a Writer.
