Has anyone had problems with diabetic seizures in the middle of the night or early mornings?

My wife says I shake stare off into space sweat hit her and I don’t remember it at all.

What can I do to stop them?

Have you saw a neurologist. I would suggest getting in there to make sure there isn’t another cause for the seizures.

Our son has had them off and on for 43 years - all due to low BS. Adjust your insulin, eat a bedtime snack.

I had seizures when I was on MDI. Long acting insulin (first NPH, then Lantus) didn’t work well for me. I haven’t had one since I got a pump almost 18 years ago.

Whether you’re on MDI or a pump, it’s probably a basal issue if it’s happening overnight.
