Tomorrow my dog is having an operation to have her claw removed

.. it broke quite badly and over time hasn’t fallen off it’s self so it’s causing her discomfort so I’ve decided that she should have it removed.

I know it’s so so silly but I feel so anxious about it. Has anyone had similar with there dog?! Looking for some reassurance.

My dog had one of his claw removed. It was a fast procedure
The doctors put him to sleep and then removed it. While he was sleeping they decided to cut the rest of his other nails since he is aggressive and he is a giant dog. They did send him home with a cone so he wouldn't crew at his foot. They sent him home with pain medicine and antibiotics.
It cost me lots to have it done but he needed it done because he was in pain
