I just had a greenhouse built next to my house in Kansas City

I’ve always had plants but just made to move to have the greenhouse built. Still learning a lot! really looking forward to learning from all of you more experienced greenhouse growers.

I’m most interested in keeping my tropicals and succulents doing well so they can return to my deck in the late spring.

I'm only about an hour from you. We put up a hoop house in March of 2021. I've got veggies, house plants, tropicals, and succulents in mine year around. The summers can be brutal and the winters the same. Its been a learning experience for us! My succulents have struggled through the winter even with heat and supplemental lighting. But they are alive. Pests have been a big deal for us as well. Aphids, mealy bugs, and more don't have anywhere to go when its cold and are a pain in the butt to deal with. I hope you enjoy your greenhouse as much as we have ours!
