.. Is it necessary a VPN, I am all the time on intern while I travel, all the apps work fine? Does it worth to pay it for a long trip? Please I need an advice. I am from Peru.

You don't necessarily need it but if you use open and public WiFi you should use VPN. There are lots of cheap options. I personally use SurfShark. They always have offers for like 3 months free and then $2 a month after. Not sure what apps you have but mine have worked fine except Netflix sometimes. It is also worth getting VPN for booking flights or accommodation sometimes as by your research the websites remember your IP and potentially increase the prices. You can change that with a VPN.

I usually get a sim card and use my phone as a hotspot. Much more secure than using wifi. If you use any public wifi make sure to use a VPN.

Sent you a link to surfshark I've been using it for 15+ months and it's been great.
