In Oct when I went with Etihad before flying I needed proof of my journey from Malaysia to Singapore my flight from Singapore to the UK wasn't enough.

I got asked in phnom penh but they never asked me in malaysia so it depends where you’re coming from.

We flew Krabi to Kula Lumpar and not asked for exit flight. The follow on flight KL to Borneo required an exit flight.
