Looking for recommendations for things that are must see/do/eat in Atlanta in February that aren't in a tourist guide!
Skip World Of Coke, such a tourist trap.
Bantam & Biddy is great. Seasons 52 is not local. Rays on the river is. Flying biscuit is great for breakfast/lunch (not open for dinner).
The botanical garden is one of my faves.
Lots of small mom and pop places up and down Buford Hwy ( easiest with a car). East Atlanta/Decatur has lots of great places to eat. Ponce City Market is a fun food hall. Taco Mac has great beer selection, like over 75 choices.
Oakland Cemetery is fun to roam around. If you can find a Clue Town book they are fun. I know there is one of Oakland, and Piedmont Park & GA Tech campus. Michael C. Carlos museum on Emory's campus is neat. Skip Fernbank Museum if you have ever been to a decent natural history museum. I do like Fernbank Science center, especially the planetarium.

Oakland Cemetery. Beautiful historic cemetery, they often have special themed events in the evenings and weekend too. Have a drink at Six Feet Under across the street to cap off you evening.
A stop at the Brick Store Pub, followed by dinner at the Iberian Pig or the Kimball House.
Atlanta History Center - make lunch reservations at Swan House. Also lunch at Mary Mac’s Tea Room on Ponce
Eat anywhere along Buford Highway and get a foot massage at Treat Your Feet! Virgil’s Gullah Kitchen is amazing food and cool vibe! Pizza at Antico or Nina & Rafi.
