Is someone else using LinkedIn for promoting their services ?

I was just wondering about something and I am seeking an advice.

Is someone else using LinkedIn for promoting their services? I have over 5200+ "connections" on LinkedIn and anything I post on it does definitely get some attention (few hundreds of views) yet when I look at my stats from the visitor stand point, nadda, absolutely nothing.

What's the deal? Does anyone have any hints or tricks on how to get people to actually visit whatever I am putting as a post?

Keep in mind, exactly same format of the post goes out to Facebook and Twitter and I am definitely getting some attention from them but nothing from LinkedIn.

Perhaps your audience, Try joining LinkedIn groups that have the same interests as you. It should work.

It seems like you're not focusing on #tags or your connections are not related to your field. There are few other things also which cause this.
