Should I start giving antimalarial now or I should wait till symptoms start?

Good morning doctors. I traveled with my 6 months old baby last weekend to my in-laws place and she was bitten by mosquitoes all over her body. Should I start giving antimalarial now or I should wait till symptoms start?

Age: 6 months
Bw: 3kg
Cw: 8.5kg

There's no need getting any antimalarial drugs yet, unless she’s sick and laboratory test confirms it to be malaria.

Most importantly, try avoiding further bites by making her sleep under insecticide treated mosquito nets.
