My two daughters always snore whenever they are sleeping

Good morning doctors.

Please my two daughters always snore whenever they are sleeping.

The first girl (2 years plus) doesn't snore before until recently.

My second (1 year plus) started hers wen she was about clocking one year.

I'm worried bcos they both doesn't have catarrh or cough.

Please what could it be or is it normal?

There are many reasons why a child can snore. It could be from normal falling of the tongue backwards which is blocking the airway, a habit especially if familiar or enlarged tonsil and adenoids.

You will need to see a doctor to figure out the exact and management.
