These are two totally different places but if you had to choose between Thailand and morocco to visit what would be it be. What are your pros and cons between the two?

Thailand is very cheap once you get there. Very popular for independent travel, and it’s easy to meet other travelers there. Cheap amazing food.

Camel rides and desert excursion requires a tour. Some independent travel is doable.

You will not be able to read the language in either place. French might help in Morocco. Stricter behavior and clothing customs in Morocco.

Been to both... both have AMAZING food. Both have incredibly interesting cultures. Both have tons of amazing sights. Obviously the beaches in Thailand are far superior to Morocco, but I don't think most people go to Morocco for the beach. Morocco has more diversity in its landscapes. Tough call, you can't go wrong!

I've been to both places. I LOVED Thailand, and I enjoyed Morocco. Personally, I felt more comfortable in Thailand. The people were friendly and welcoming. The culture is laid back for the most part. In Morocco I felt more like an outsider. I didn't like the aggressive selling of things. There is an expectation of the tourist paying for everything.. want to take a photo of a donkey then you pay the person etc. I don't necessarily think that's a wrong philosophy to have, it just made me a bit uncomfortable. In Morocco we had a guide, and that helped so much. We would never have seen the intricacies of the Medina without him and his crew. In Thailand, I feel you can do more on your own.
