I'm leaving in a week for my first real solo trip to South East Asia

.. and I'm really excited but also very nervous. I'm gonna be backpacking around Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Bali.

Do you have any tips and tricks for me to follow before and during my trip?

Also, be sure to have a battery pack for your cell phone you can carry with you. If you are out walking around and your cell battery dies, everything gets harder.
