Hi Guys.. I need help of this amazing SEO community. I have posted a review article on a DR 80+ news website. I built good backlinks on my url to maintain its top position in SERPs. The url is found on top 5 positions in mobile search but not on desktops. Why is it so and how I can be found in desktop searches too.
Please give your precious advice.
Desktop vs Mobile search
To increase your visibility on desktop search engines, you should focus on optimizing your website for desktop devices as well as improving your website's overall search engine optimization (SEO) efforts. Here are a few things you can try:
Desktop-Friendly Website Design: Ensure that your website is designed to be user-friendly and responsive on desktop devices.
Mobile-First Indexing: Make sure your website is optimized for mobile-first indexing. This means that the content on your mobile site should be the same as the content on your desktop site.
Content Optimization: Make sure your website content is optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. Use keywords relevant to your industry and target audience in your headings, subheadings, and body text.
Technical SEO: Improve your website's technical SEO by fixing any broken links, optimizing your website's load time, and improving your website's overall structure.
Backlink Profile: Build high-quality backlinks from reputable websites in your industry. This will improve your website's authority and help you rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs).
Track Your Progress: Regularly monitor your website's rankings and performance on desktop search engines to see what's working and what needs to be improved. Use tools like Google Search Console to track your website's performance and make data-driven decisions.
By following these tips, you can improve your website's visibility on desktop search engines and drive more organic traffic to your website.
