Where are my fellow new build council house owners?

I'm decorating this year and need some inspiration. How have you made your house feel like a home? Photos are highly appreciated.

Would you not just decorate it as you would a old council house.
Are you bound by any terms as in you can't decorate for so many years?

Yo we got our new ones right next to each other cuz werr claiming for 6 an extra support and car so we quite lucky got two 3 bedroom houses and knocked thru. It’s our own little castle. Nuver 1 on the way so they’ll need to build us an annex next me mam said.
Anyway get a grant for interior designer but on form don’t say for that say for clothes and white goods
