Golden dragon on Gerrard Street. It’s not the cheapest but lots of Chinese meet up for family get togethers there so you know the food is good and there’s lots of space. The smaller ones are cheaper and great for a quick fix but packed, can’t book in advance.

Dumpling legend is lovely, there's a little Buffet that is also really nice - most places in chinatown only take cash.
