Does anyone know how long a parcel should take from UK to USA?

My daughter posted a parcel to a friend in Los Angeles on 23rd of January airmail with Royal Mail.

Unfortunately we didn’t send it tracked.

The person still hasn’t received it.

Does anyone know how long a parcel should take from UK to USA? Thanks in advance.

I sent a parcel to California with Everi and it took 13 days tracked all the way I couldn’t believe it, I always use Royal Mail but they were not accepting due to the cyber attack so used Everi, very pleasantly surprised. I know it doesn’t help your question but for future reference , I will now not use royal nail for USA post .

The post is wrecked out there since the trump election (according to my American friend) it could easily take 8 weeks.

Did it go Royal Mail or Parcelforce? Cyber attack is affecting RM but not PF.

Can take 6-8 weeks at the best of times but there was a cyber attack and they stoped all international post going out so may have been caught in that.

Parcels to my sister from UK to my sister who lives in California can take anything from a week to 6 weeks. Depends how much room is spare on aircrafts, not forgetting how far it needs to go into America x
