Good morning doc. Is it okay to lay a 6weeks old baby on her stomach? Because my child won't sleep for 5 minutes when she lay on her side or back but can sleep for more than on hour on her stomach.

It is not recommended for babies to sleep facing down.

The best position for a sleeping baby is back to the bed with face up. Though sideways is also okay but the initial is best.

This is actually to avoid SIDS - Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. SIDS is commonly associated with face down sleeping position.

If you are concerned about the baby's head flattening, you can adjust the head from side to side at intervals. But please note that it is BACK TO SLEEP.
