I have a short haired chihuahua who SHEDS. I have a rubber brush that I use on her and she gets one bath every month. she still sheds a lot.

Food quality and foods with high omega 6 fatty acids (fish based foods typically) can help with the base skin and coat quality so you shouldn’t have as much shedding. You can always get fish oil pills or a liquid supplement and add it to their food too.
