Should I walk during the fast or after I eat breakfast?
with KETO.. I fast from 5pm until 9am. I am going to start walking 2 miles in the mornings! Should I walk during the fast or after I eat breakfast at 9am? Or does it matter?
It has not been scientifically proven either way. The theory behind it is, because you have no insulin coursing through your veins, That your liver converts your stored fat into the energy needed to exercise. When you are fed it feeds off of the food first then to the stored fat. I personally do train while fasted. I found that I can go longer when fasted then fed.
I have don’t know if there’s any scientific answer, but if I eat before my long walks, I feel slow and heavy. It feels much better if I eat after my walk.
