I’m spending a few days in London in June! so..

.. I have been to London before so not looking to spend majority of the time there but want to do some day trips! I already have a night planned in Bath. I’m interested in possibly doing Dover for the day.

Is it possible to do this in one day?

Any other recommendations on locations are appreciated as well!

Day trip to Cambridge. Go “punting on the Cam” (English equivalent of gondolas?) if the weather is amenable.

Bristol is just a tad further than Bath and I really enjoy it. Or you could do Oxford as a day trip. Don't know if you consider Hampton Court and Windsor Castle as part of London or not but both are also easy visits as a half or full day trip.

I did Canterbury and Dover in a day and they were both amazing! Very easy train ride from Kings Cross.

Take a day trip to Stonehenge. Generally this outing involves a stop in Salisbury.
