Bar harbor is awesome and has some great food options. If you want a fancy date night spot definitely look up Havana

Most national park trails don't allow dogs. Acadia has a whole page about what areas are okay.

Bar Harbor is the most precious town on Earth. I spent 1 day there like 3 years ago and regularly think of it. Give yourself lots of time to just wander around.
