We are planning a road trip to the hot springs area in Arkansas for the end of March

.. We want to visit Hot Springs to check out the town, the park and Bathhouse Row. We also want to visit Garvan Gardens.

Additionally, we plan to take some little day trips to Crater of Diamonds and maybe a few other areas where we can dig for gems. I’m looking for help on where to stay.

I’ve looked at VRBOs, resorts and hotels in the Lake Ouachita area, the Lake Hamilton area and right in Hot Springs.

There seem to be quite a few options, but I just don’t know what to choose.

It will be me, my husband and our 11 year old daughter. It would be nice to have a pool to use at the end of the day. Other than that we don’t have a lot of requirements.

Maybe a good place to grab coffee in the morning!

No advice, but going there next week. What is your itinerary like?

I use Airbnb often and my advice is to read reviews carefully. I look for many recent reviews and ones where the hosts are lauded.
