My 60 year old mother is looking to spend a few days in Ireland by herself while the rest of us head to Hungary

.. It’s her first international travel and she’s a bit of an introvert.

Suggestions for tours, groups, sites, accommodations?

Doesn’t have to be Dublin but figured she would manage without a car there!

Not Dublin, but my mother has accompanied me on several trips where she was left to her own devices at times. In Edinburgh for example, we got her on several day bus tours. Some of them went out into the surrounding countryside, others stayed in town. Worked brilliantly.

She could join a tour like Gate 1.

Dublin, London, Edinburgh are all walkable friendly cities she will love. Just make sure she watches crossing intersections as it is opposite to the US. My husband has had to pull me back a couple times.

Easy to move around by public transport and tours like Wild Rover. She just needs to figure out how many days, from where and what to see
