The regulators prohibit companies like mine from responding to positive Google reviews. Doing so can result in significant financial penalties.

I understand Google puts significant weight on responding to reviews. Beyond posting updates to the local office GBPs, what else can I do to improve visibility for GBPs for our individual locations? We have more than 85 offices nationally. Thanks for your advice.

I've never seen any actual evidence that responding to reviews has an impact. It certainly can impact conversions, especially how a company responds to bad reviews. I just have not seen a good solid test done to prove that responding to reviews moves the needle.

Great question! There is a specific posting strategy that you can use to help build topical and local authority.
The other thing that’s important is to make sure it’s completely filled out as best as possible. Fill EVERYTHING out that you can. Services, images, etc

Could your outsourced social media company reply? “Hi this is Henry from “media company”, we manage this account for xxxxx. “ or can you just state we received your review but unfortunately due to Government regulations we’re unable to comment”

Focus on Entity SEO for each of the office.
