Gmb rankings on page signals now days. Assuming you have about 10-20% of the reviews top competitors have you can rank with the website signals. I barely ever touch a gmb anymore. Google just pulls that data from your site and I just accept the edits.

Just make sure the content is all filled out as much as possible. Do not try to cheat in any way and make sure you are regularly posting to push data and link data to your website. The more google can associate you with your specific niche, location, and services offered the better.
