SE Asia.. What would be the best places to try fit in?

Hey all, looking to do 5-6 weeks travelling SE Asia, what would be the best places to try fit in?

You'll easily get in Nth Thailand, Laos briefly, Vietnam, Siem Reap Cambodia (2 days) and return to Sth Thailand for beach/islands like Samui or Krabi.

Personally I would skip Laos as all you will be doing is travelling across it... basically a 2 day boat ride and a 2 day bus ride.
