Hi, can anybody help please me & my friend are going travelling in November starting in Thailand.
My understanding we can only stay in Thailand for 30 days without the visa, is there a certain amount of days we have to be left before we can return to Thailand?
TIA

If you are in Nth Thailand at the time just head for Mae Sai border with Burma. You can do a crossing there just walk over the small bridge, have lunch on the Burma side and cross back that arvo. Can be done at Mae Sot, west of Tak.
You can extend your stay in Thailand for a further 30 days by paying 1900 THB at a Thai Immigration Centre... or you can leave Thailand, reenter and get 30 days.
There is no amount of time you have to spend in another country before you reenter.
You can cross the border and come back in the same day, therefore renewing your visa exemption.
