Any advice on what I should do next with my stories?

Hi Everyone. First I absolutely do not want to be an author. I love to write and I have completed a bunch of stories hand written between 20k-30k words. Any advice on what I should do next with my stories?

If you don’t want to be an author, just slide them into a drawer.

Keep them safe in a nice drawer? If you don't want to be an author, that just means you don't ever want to publish anything so just tuck your notebooks away and write more stuff until you fill the drawer. Then make room in another drawer.

Maybe you can try screenwriting, short films, documentaries, blogs, poems, essays, etc? I am in the same boat but leaning more towards screen-writing!

'Writer' and 'easy money' are never seen together. You'd make more money stacking shelves in a supermarket.
