Do people find Hive saves them much money?

Hi, Just had a new boiler fitted and we are hooked up to Hive. Are the radiators meant to go off when the heat gets to the temperature requested?

Before they were on all the time. Do people find Hive saves them much money?

Depending where you have your thermostat the room will heat upto whatever temperature you have put in your schedule, it will kick back in when it drops.

Yes, once it reaches the set temperature. Love the Hive system, cold day today at football, switch the temperature up by the app, home to a nice cosy warm house !!

The heating will cut in and out according to what your thermostats set at x

Don’t have Hive, but the thermostat does the same… cuts off when temperature is reached(18) then comes on when temperature drops again.

Anyone with a thermostat has this happen. It will cut off once temperature is reached and then kick in again when it drops.

Yes that correct I've just had a wireless thermostat installed and set it to 17c 24/7 and when it reaches temp it turns the boiler off and radiators cool then if it drops below the set temp it will fire the boiler back up getting it back up to temp x

I have hive. We have rad values on them and do when they reach temp they go off

We don’t have hive but we have something similar which cost us £150 and took us two weeks to earn the money back have oil heating with a large lounge we don’t use often where the old thermostat used to be.

Yes ours do at whatever the temperature is set at. They will fire up again as it drops.
