Has anyone had their old conservatory roof replaced with new modern ones..

.. that claim to keep it warm in winter and cool in summer.

We bought a house and have discovered in the storm that we have a leaky roof.

Wondering whether to fix it or if those new roofs are worth it.

You can have a warm roof put on and they make such a difference, I don't personally have one but my husband fits them and I have been amazed how much insulation they have in them and how they transform a conservatory into a room I have a picture somewhere of what they involve if I can find it ill put it on here.

💯 worth changing it, we had a lightweight tiled roof with 8 inches of insulation added plus plastering and spots. Used a local builder and it’s transformed the way we live and how we use our “garden room”

We had ours done last year with a lightweight roof, loads of insulation, then plastered.

It's made a massive difference, we now have the internal doors open most of the time, as there's virtually no temperature difference when you walk in from the lounge! It now looks like more part of the house and is a much more usable space!
